"Hello,
I am an artist, actor, and director native to the Turks & Caicos Islands. While pursuing a career in entertainment in London, I immersed myself in different cultures, art forms, and performances.
Yet no matter where the journey took me, it always led me back to the shores I call home—compelled to tell a story I believe the world needs to experience.
My lifelong love for the sea inspired me to create Our Blue Back Yards, a film that not only celebrates the ocean but also the people who dedicate their lives to protecting it. Over the past year, I have been a quiet observer—joining boat expeditions, marine exhibitions, conservation efforts, and restoration projects to document, in real time, the work that keeps the waters of the Turks & Caicos Islands blue.
From witnessing coral restoration first hand to discovering how the ocean unites a small island community far beyond its shores, I have been continually inspired by the passion, resilience, and hope of those working to preserve this remarkable place. This documentary is an invitation to see the sea through their eyes. It does not take audiences to another tropical destination. Instead, it welcomes them into an oceanic family's blue backyards—where paradise is not simply a place to visit, but a home to protect, cherish, and pass on to future generations."
